Hurricane Isaac

We made it through hurricane Isaac okay. He overstayed his welcome moving only 5 mph.

Tuesday night we stayed at my parents house.  Around 2:30 or so the power only went out for about an hour.  YAY!!! South MS did get some damage from tornadoes, wind and flooding.

Dan was teaching Konner how to make a bracelet, Wednesday.

 

Wednesday night was the worst. This is the weather that came through.

 

We were so happy to get outside and play when the rain stopped.

It always floods here when we have heavy rain.

 

 

Dan pulled Rivers and Konner through the water puddle and Konner said it was fun.

 

 

Konner put Dan's rainboots on and had a blast splashing in the water.

 

This is the biggest tree limb that fell out of about 5. The rest are just sticks. We have alot of leaves and pinecones to pick up.

 

During the storm, I kept a boy from California updated on the weather. We pigged out on all the food in the house. Konner and Rivers ate popcorn two or three times a day. I finished reading a book and started another. We are very blessed to have no damage. There are many people who have had flooding and tornados go through their homes. Please pray for these families as they begin to pick up the pieces and rebuild.
