Konner | {Second Grade}

So this is a little late.

Konner started second grade this year. WOW!!!
My baby sure is growing up.

I didn't do the interview with him in Kindergarten, but I do have 1st and 2nd grade!!
I found it on Positively Splendid website. Free printables for first and final day of school interviews for each school year.
I also send a Teacher Interview for his teacher to fill out so that we know what she likes and don't like so when her birthday or Christmas or Teacher Appreciation week comes along we know what she likes!
I also made my own version of these free printouts.

Our usual first day of school photo shoot. I love both these pics.
The left says "I'm too cool for school!"
The right he said, "Mom, take a picture of me doing this praising Jesus!"

And of course comparisons!

Konner, I know I say it every year, but you are growing up too fast!! You are growing to be such a fine young man and my prayer is that God uses you in mighty ways throughout your life. At such a young age you have quite a testimony to tell about your sister Adyson. And you are not afraid to tell people about her. Never loose that!! You are a great big brother and Rivers adores you and I know your sister will too!! We are so proud of you!!

How are treatments going-- going great... I probably only have one more left which will make a grand total of 23 treatments total

THURSDAY'S DOCTOR VISIT

I had an appointment to see my doctor and the ultrasound tech to determine how big Baby C was weighing. Doc B has been telling me for a month or two that she would be a big baby. My doc appointment was first and he tells me I have dilated 1-2 cm and I am thinning and he can feel her head. YAY!!! Then we go to get our ultrasound. We were in there for 30 minutes or so, at least it felt that long anyway. Which I didn't mind because I got to see my girl!! She did her measurements and told us she was weighing 9lbs. I was thinking closer to 8lbs. Dan and I were both shocked. For a second I thought I was going to pass out. A 9 pound baby now only means a bigger baby when she arrives. She will gain an ounce a day until I deliver. Back to the ultrasound, Doc B comes in and asks the tech how much she is weighing and she tells him and he looks at Dan and laughingly says, "You're kidding right?" Then he sees the screen for himself and I thought he was going to pass out. He looks at me and says, "Kari, how did you grow a 9lb baby?" I wish I knew doc. I wish I knew. We then go back to his office where he gives us options of inducing the following Monday, which he then goes on to say he doesn't think I will be able to naturally deliver that big of a baby safely. So, it looks like I will be having a c-section. I AM TERRIFIED OF C-SECTIONS!!! You hear me??? TERRIFIED!!! I am not thrilled about having a c-section. But, if Doc B sees concern of me trying naturally then I'd choose any route to get her here safely.  So, if y'all would, send up some prayers for me as the delivery day gets closer that I will be at ease and calm that God's got this and His plan for Baby C to arrive is the perfect plan.

36 Weeks | {Bump Update}

Heartbeat-- 155 bpm

How far along-- 36 weeks and 6 days

How I'm feeling-- I have good days and bad days.. Just trying to take it easy every day

Weight Gain-- 40 whopping pounds

How big is baby-- according to my What To Expect app ~ she is 19-22 in long and around 6 lbs

Gender-- GIRL

Maternity Clothes-- I'm close to busting out of them

Sleep-- It's good actually. Still using the restroom twice at night like clockwork (12:30 and 4)

Best Moment-- Seeing my cousin, Tama, get married yesterday and being the Matron of Honor

Worst Moment-- When I tried on my bridesmaid dress Wednesday and it didn't zip. So Thursday, I did my treatment, went straight to Biloxi to have it let out, picked up Konner from school and Rivers from my Mamaw's and went straight to doc appointment to hear that I had, in fact, not dilated but I am thinning and he can feel her head. It was a long day of GO GO GO and I was exhausted when I got home and finally got to rest. Whew!!!

Movement-- this girl gets crazy at night. She is practicing her gymnastics and dance moves. BUT, her movement is becoming less and less.

Food Cravings-- Sushi, Outback (mainly bloomin' onion), Mugshots, a Caramel Frappuccino from Starbucks

Food Aversions-- baked fish ~ Dan made fried fish for Konner twice last week and I was able to eat that. It was SO good!!!

Labor Signs-- Well.... we were all hoping we would see some action after this wedding,, but no such luck. Everyone was waiting on the phone call. Sorry y'all, I was too!! She obviously didn't get the memo!

Emotions-- I couldn't even look at Tama take pictures without crying, so I had to walk out.

Belly button in or out-- O-U-T

Looking forward to-- my next appointment ~ I will get an ultrasound to see how much she is weighing and see if I am dilated any

How are treatments going-- I really can't complain like I have before. Besides the needle hurting going in, they are going smoothly.
