Locked Out

This week is VBS!!
I get up this morning and get the boys fed, dressed and ready to go by 8 am!
We walk out the door around 8:10 and I get the boys buckled in their seats and realize I don't have my purse.
AND I locked the door.
So, brilliant me just says, "We will just drive to dad's work and get his key and wa la!!"
So, I get in and push the break with my foot and push the crank button with my finger to crank my car and the little light comes on and says, "No Key!!"
Ahhhhhhhhh...... The key is in my purse which is inside the house that I am locked out of.
GO ME!!

After multiple tries to get in my house Konner goes to knock on our neighbors door (2 that are close by not counting my parents) and no one is home.

By this time I am wanting to burst into tears. BUT I do not let Satan get me!!

So, we walk a mile in the heat to my Nanny's house and call Dan.
I forget his number and call a wrong number and end up calling my mom to get his number.
HA!
Anyway, he comes and saves the day and we make it to VBS by around 9:30!

After VBS, Konner had a friend, Asher, come spend the day with us.

There was lots of jumping in...

Sun in the eyes

Monster popsicles

Canon BALL!!!!

After swimming they played the Wii for a bit until Asher's mom came and picked him up.

They had a great day and I am sure wore out.

Born Again

This morning I got to witness my nephew, Dylan, be baptized.

He accepted Christ as his Savior at VBS.

Dylan, I am so proud of you. This is THE most important decision you will ever make in your life.
My heart swells with happiness just knowing you will spend eternity with the Most High and so many of your family. And you will get to meet you cousin, Adyson =]

I love you!!

Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again."

Pantry Party

My sweet friend Blair and her family are moving! =[
Only 45 minutes up the road, so it's not like we will never see them again, but still.
Her husband has been called to preach at a small church north of here.
I couldn't be more happy for them and how God is moving in their families life.

This past Thursday, we took our "Playdate Thursday" and turned it into a Pantry Party for them. We all brought items to fill their pantry. Such a great idea!!  Our host so graciously bought hamburgers and hotdogs to cook and all the rest of us Momma's brought a side dish.
Everybody swam and had a good time eating and fellowshipping.
That sure wore those kids out.
Mine anyway =]

Blair, we sure gonna miss ya girl. But I am glad you are not too far up the road we can still see y'all.
Many blessings as you follow Christ's calling.

Best Friend Day

HAPPY BEST FRIENDS DAY!!!

My Best Friends close to home--
Hailey, Lindsey, Natasha

My Best Friend away from home (since we were in diapers)--
Christy

One of these precious friends told me one time that God had many close friends. Then he had his 12 disciples that He was closer to. BUT He still had His closer friends. 3 or 4 I think it was.
These are my 4 =]

I am blessed beyond words for these 4 precious ladies that God has so graciously placed in my life at such perfect times.  I may not speak to each of them every single day, but I know these ladies are always here for me to lift me up and encourage me and push me along to be the woman God wants me to be. What great Godly women I am running beside.

Happy Anniversary!!

Today we celebrate 7 years of marriage.

Wednesday late afternoon we decided, on a whim, to go to Florida and watch FSU play in the regionals. We also got to see MSU, Samford, and UAB.
Woo hoo our FSU made it to South Regionals.

We watched two games Friday and two games Saturday.
It was way hot during the day but nice at the night games.

Dan was so giddy the whole trip. It was a dream come true for him.

We had a great time but couldn't wait to get home to our boys, who missed us just as much as we missed them.

I love you, baby!!

''For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'.. So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.''
