One that is happening this year is a NH Angel Ball that will take place in Chicago, IL.
Here is the logo we created
And this is Dr. Peter Whitington. Thanks to him and his staff for their continued dedication to finding out more on this disease. He has made it possible for myself and many others to have babies after loosing a child to NH/GALD. For those of you who do not know, after the first case of NH/GALD, their is an 80% chance of having another born with it.
Recently Dr. W has told us that he believes NH/GALD is more common than he originally thought. Most of the time it goes undiagnosed when premies pass away. That is why we want to spread the word and let ALL hospitals, doctors, nurses, etc know about this disease so more babies can be saved.
We chose this day because it is Dr. W's birthday!!
I know I speak of all the other parents of NH/GALD babies when I say, THANK YOU, for all you do to allow us to have more babies.
HELP US SPREAD THE WORD!!!
