The surgeon decided yesterday (Sunday) that he did not feel comfortable doing the surgery because her clottng factors were not stable like they have been. For Ady, it is a very risky surgery with her blood not clotting. They, instead, are trying to close it with medicine, decreasing fluids, increasing lasiks, and trying to get her to loose weight. (She weighs about 7 pounds now).
This morning I talked with the doctor and he seems to think the PDA won't close on its on. He said tomorrow or Wednesday another echo will be done to check to see if it has closed and if not plan another sugery for the end of this week. We shall see how it goes this go round.
