Our Family Vaca

For our end of the year family vacation we went to Orange Beach and stayed at Phoenix On The Bay. This place is awesome!! You don't even have to leave the condo. It comes equipped with a full kitchen, dishwasher, silverware, cookware, washer & dryer. In the bedroom it has his and her sinks, stand up shower and a Jacuzzi tub. Konner slept on the sofa bed. We went down the road to Publix and bought some groceries to cook while we were there. It has a kiddie pool, heated pool and non heated pool outside with a lazy river around it. Oh, and there is a slide outside too. Inside there is two hot tubs and another heated pool. We had a blast! We went to the beach, hung at the pool, and just enjoyed being together. Dan and I started a tradition on our honeymoon when we go to Orange Beach we always go to this seafood place that steams your seafood for you. They just steam it, it's not a restaurant or anything. We bring it back to our room and eat on the balcony. Well every time we go we ALWAYS get some steamed shrimp and crab legs. So this time was no different. We pull up and what do you know they are closed until Monday. FOOEY!! This is a 3 year tradition people!! HA!! Don't worry, we found another place that steamed them, but it was not as good as the place we always go to. We have decided this will be a yearly family vacation for us. We only stayed 3 nights but we decided we will be staying for a whole week next year. 8-) We did forget our pillows we brought with us. So needless to say we had to go last night and buy some more. Thank goodness we did not forget Konner's pillow. OMG!! We would of definitely had to go back and get it. SERIOUSLY!! He loves his face pillow. And his blanket too. He takes them every where. He pitches a fit if we go somewhere and we don't bring them. I added some pics to our slide show at the bottom so go check them out.
